The Scholastic Bowl teams had a non-conference invitational meet at Dwight last night. JV worked very well as a team! They split the rounds. Varsity was a little off their game but, according to Coach McGarey, they all had a good time.

Although the JV team didn’t place on Saturday during the JV I-8 Conference Tournament, we had two players make the I-8 JV Conference All-Tournament Team: Alex Moss and Jacob Stockin. They individually answered enough toss-up questions to receive a medal. Congratulations!
Both varsity and JV lost to a tough Herscher team Thursday night. MVP for varsity is Cameron Layne and JV goes to John Hunt. Their next match is against Westmont at home on February 4th.
Both Scholastic Bowl teams had hard fought losses Thursday night against Seneca. MVP for JV was Jacob Stockin for scoring over 100 points. Varsity MVP was Jakob Brand for his great pep talks.
