Despite outhitting Streator four to two, the Varsity Softball team lost 3-1 in seven innings on Monday. The girls will face Coal City in the IHSA Regional tournament on Wednesday at 4:30pm in Coal City.

Monday night Bri Smith did all she could to give the Reed-Custer Comets Varsity a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Wilmington, as the Reed-Custer Comets Varsity lost 6-2 in seven innings.
Last night the Fresh-Soph Lady Comets Softball team fell short to the Wilmington Wildcats 8-3. Michelle Mack led the offense with 2 hits. The next game is scheduled for May 5th at Wilmington.
Mackenzie Collier did her best to change the outcome, but Collier couldn’t guide the Reed-Custer Comets Varsity Softball team past Peotone Monday night. The Comets lost 3-0 in seven innings.
Reed-Custer Varsity Girls Softball won against Seneca on Friday, as Seneca fell 4-2 after falling behind by three runs in the fifth inning. Mackenzie Collier was the winning pitcher. The Varsity girls are now 5-8 overall.
