The Varsity game was a hard fought battle but Coal City came out victorious 19-25, 22-25. Defense played a major role in keeping the games close with Kassidy Barr having 16 digs and Val Guzman having 10. A combination of blocking by McKenzie Collier, Catrina Petersen, Gabi Perez and Guzman also kept the game close but the Coalers were just too much for the Comets.

JV also put up a great fight but in the end lost in 3 to the Coalers 23-25, 25-17, 19-25. Blocking again was key to keeping the games close with both middles Brandy Ridgely and Maggie Meyr having 3 assisted blocks each and Meyr with a solo block. Meyr also added 2 aces and 4 kills. Maddi Tiangco also had a game high of 5 aces.

The Lady Comets Freshmen team came out with the win 25-18, 11-25, 25-23. Serving was absolutely vital in all 3 games. Kaylee Thompson rallied her team back to win with 8 aces. Taylor Toler added another 4 and also served the last 11 points of game 3.
