The Volley for the Cure Night was a huge success Thursday night. Almost $1200 was raised! Thank you to all that came to support such a wonderful cause. Special thank you to the all three volleyball teams for donating baskets and baked goods. The Varsity fell short to Lisle in two games 12-25, 20-25. The team had a combined 16 digs, 7 kills, 3 solo blocks, and 3 aces. JV had a great night beating Lisle in three matchces. They lost the first one 20-25 but came back to win the next two 25-14, 25-23. As a team they had 22 digs and 8 aces. The Freshmen also won in two with a nail biter. Neither team would give up and the first game ended up going to 31-29 with Reed-Custer prevailing. They took the second game 25-10. It was a great team effort all the way around! The Volley for the Cure t-shirts and can coozies will still be on sale in the office through next week.
