Soccer Team Gets Revenge


The Varsity soccer team got revenge on St. Anne, winning the second of back to back games 2-0. Eddie Cathelyn earned the shut-out in goal. The Comets started the scoring with about 30 seconds left in the first half when Bryce Martis put away a great goal on an assist from Josh Hayden. In the second half, Collin Cash found the insurance goal off an assist by Frankie Torres. The Comets will head to Beecher on Monday and Westmont on Tuesday. They stand at 2-12 overall. The Junior Varsity soccer team blanked St. Anne in as many games, this time winning 3-0. Austin Termain recorded 2 goals on the night while Will Ritze had a goal and an assist. Bryce Martis had the other assist for the Comets. Josh Hayden earned the shutout in his first appearance in goal.
