Last night the Boys basketball teams rampaged the Redskins of Momence. Brent Headrick’s 16 points lead a balanced Comet attack as the Comet Varsity defeated Momence 89-35. Tyler Allen had 12, Zack Zoltani had 11 and Travis Schoonover added 10 as the Comets improve to 15-11. The Sophomore team won 84-47. A.J. Simonelli led the Comets with 20 points, 7 rebounds. Tommy Shaw had 14 points, 8 rebounds, and Jake Welch had 14 points. The sophomores are now 11-10 on the season. The Comets will travel to Seneca Friday night to face the Irish in their final game of the season.
